Staying hydrated is very important for people with eczema prone skin. Its not an easy task for some to get in their daily recommended amount of water. If your kids are anything like mine, water is not a top priority. Now I trick them by giving them fruits that have high water contents. According to Health.com, there are 15 fruits and vegetables that will help keep you hydrated. My favorites are watermelon and cantaloupe. Watermelon is 91.5% water and cantaloupe is 90.2% water. So next time your kids say "Mom I'm hungry", slip them some watermelon and up their hydration level for the day.
