Moisturize. Moisturize. Moisturize.

Posted by

These are my babies Eli and Sam. They are my pride and Joy. There is nothing in the world that I wouldn't do for them. But when it comes to their eczema flair-ups, I use to feel helpless. I learned by trial and error what works best for them.

I am not a medical professional. I'm just sharing with you what works best for me and my family.

Eli suffers from seasonal eczema. He usually has his breakout when winter hits. On the other hand, Sam suffers from eczema year round. She has allergy related eczema. She is gluten intolerant and has several environmental allergies that includes dust mites, grass and trees.

I apply All Over Butter on them about 3 times a day. I found that heavily moisturizing them at night is very effective. Immediately after their baths, I slather All Over Butter on their skin. Because Sam has extremely dry skin, I end up having to apply 2 coats of All Over Butter on her legs and back. Those two areas are where she has her heaviest flair-ups.

I first start with her legs, by the time I work my way up to her face, her legs actually look like I didn’t just apply the All Over Butter. I end up having to apply a second coat. When they wake up in the morning, their skin isn’t as dry.

The reason I apply heavy moisturizer at night is because skin is in its reparative state at night. While we sleep, our skin is at rest and not being exposed to the environment.

This regiment is what works for us. I would love for you to try All Over Butter. If after using it for a few weeks and you don’t notice any change, please let us know and we will issue you a store credit.
